Inverurie Speakers Club Newsletter.

At the start of the new session in September 2008 we will continue to meet at the Kintore Arms Hotel.Meetings will start at 7.30pm prompt.Our first meeting of the new session is on the 25th September 2008

Ian Sandison is the new Club President with Susan Cochrane as Vice President and Denise Belshaw as Secretary. Dick Taylor will continue as Club Treasurer.

To encourage new members to come along we are to promote the club through The Inverurie Farmers Market with the distribution of leaflets/posters and postcards.

The new programme starting on September 25th is as follows

SEPTEMBER 25TH  -  COMFORT ZONES

OCTOBER 9TH       -  FOOD FOR THOUGHT

OCTOBER 23TH    -  GENERATION GAP

NOVEMBER 13TH  -  I ALWAYS WISH I HAD

NOVEMBER 27TH - SEASONAL THOUGHT

DECEMBER 11TH - CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

Each meeting has two or three prepared speeches on the theme for the evening as well as a reading. After a break for coffee we have a session based on the theme where everyone has an opportunity to participate if they want.

We would be delighted to welcome new members along to join in our very enjoyable and fun evenings.
